To all our valued customers,
     It is with a heavy heart that we announce that at the end of June 2020, Zahara on Mississippi Avenue will be closing it's doors for good.  So much love, sweat, tears, memories, and moments were cultivated between those four walls and it wouldn't have been possible without the constant love, support, and loyalty of our customers, families, and friends (including the furry ones).

This was an extremely difficult decision for us to make, and despite our very best efforts to compete with online retail giants (you know who we're talking about) that seem to be tearing people away from small locally owned shops like ours, we feel we have no choice but to consolidate to a single brick & mortar location to enable us to keep on serving our Portland community on a smaller scale.

The good news is, you will still find Zahara Online, 
and at 3100 SE Division Street

We encourage all of our faithful patrons to continue supporting us by both visiting us at our SE Division street location, our online store, or look for us at area music festivals and local street fairs.  
Please support all locally owned small businesses however you can:

• Go buy a plant from your favorite little shop
• Swoop up a card from a local artist
• Get yourself that pair of earrings you’ve been eye-balling
• Buy yourself a "just-because" dress
• “Like” small businesse's social media posts
• Share your favorite stores with your friends & families - give ‘em the link to the web stores

We are so grateful to have been able to be a part of the N Portland community, and sincerely appreciate all the love and support from those who shared it.  This isn't goodbye, so we'll see you around :-)
